Chang Siam Thai Restaurant was founded on the 7th April 2012, by local father and son combo Charles Timm and Christopher Timm.


It was recognised by many locals that there were no authentic Thai Cuisine restaurants in the Kerikeri or Waipapa areas.  Credit must also be given to Suchart Sasoongnern, a Thai based in the area for many years, who pushed the idea ahead, helped source fresh local ingredients and is now managing front of house.


Our aim is to be the best Authentic Thai Restaurant, not only in Kerikeri, Waipapa and the Bay of islands, but a destination for all New Zealanders and travellers from around the globe.

 

Whilst doing this we aim to provide the freshest ingredients possible, from local sources where suitable and provide good value for money while enjoying an authentic Thai dining experience.

 

With a stunning floral and butterfly garden, regular Friday and Saturday night live music and events such as the Loi Krathong (Lantern) festival Chang Siam offer the ultimate dining package.
